Governor Patrick on June 29, 2009 signed into law a $27 billion Fiscal Year 2010 budget that maintains his strong commitment to education, health care and workforce training. In the face of an historic global economic decline, the Governor, working with lawmakers, signed the balanced budget in time for the start of the new fiscal year that begins July 1.
