Exhibitor Information

WHAT IS STAR? It is the Statewide Training And Resource Exposition (STAR) that takes place each spring in Boston. STAR is well attended by public purchasers and other key employees representing Commonwealth agencies, cities and towns across the Commonwealth, independent authorities, higher education and eligible not for profit human and social service agencies.

Learn more about marketing at STAR and other events by listening to our archived STAR Marketing Webcast held on Tuesday morning, April 14th. Over 60 minutes you will learn about developing a pre-marketing event program, activities to consider at STAR, marketing to 2,000 attendees and following up programs to employ after STAR.

For a quick review of the STAR Informational slides used in the webcast held on March 5, click on the following link:STAR Webcast slides PowerPoint.

STAR 2009 is expected to be another exceptional event for both attendees and exhibitors to meet and discuss planned projects and share information.  More than 2,000 Commonwealth employees are expected with over 325 exhibitors.  With its new venue the STAR 2009 Exposition will be an event to remember.

Statewide contractors and multi-department contractors are invited to register for STAR and take advantage of an excellent opportunity to exhibit and market to the Commonwealth.  More than one exhibitor has said, “If you’re doing business with the Commonwealth you have to be at STAR.”  Another said, “I conducted B2B at STAR and established a relationship that offers excellent revenue and a lasting relationship.”
