Group Insurance Commission
The Group Insurance Commission provides high value health insurance and other benefits to state, housing and certain other authorities' employees, retirees, and their survivors/ dependents. The GIC also provides health-only benefits to participating municipalities' employees, retirees, and their survivors/ dependents.
GIC Executive Director Dolores L. Mitchell
Dolores Mitchell is the Executive Director of the Group Insurance Commission, the agency that provides life, health, disability and dental and vision services to more than 300,000 state employees, retirees and their dependents. She has been in that position since 1987. Municipality Information
