Friends of the State Library
The Friends of the Library’s mission is
- to provide financial support to enrich the Library’s collections and activities
- to attract donations of special collections and manuscripts
- to increase the library’s usefulness
- to provide an avenue for learning more about library services, collections and facilities
Friends’ activities will include exhibits, author series, tours, and a brown-bag lunch series.
Money raised through Friends’ membership fees and fund-raisers will be used to help support the Library’s electronic and print collections.
Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the Library’s goals: providing collections, resources, and services to meet the research and information needs of citizens and the legislature; and serving as a gateway to knowledge.
