The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Division of Capital Asset Management, provides an ongoing program which makes selected sites available for lease for communications infrastructure. These sites may provide excellent opportunities to improve the reliability of telecommunications networks across the state.

With the exclusion of land and buildings, departments must periodically assess their inventories of equipment, supplies, and materials. Surplus property includes, but is not limited to, office equipment and furniture, clothing, vehicles, and building materials that exceed departmental need.
