These comprehensive guides provide an overview of the choices available to you for FY10. Active Employees - see the GIC Coordinator in your benefits office for a printed version of the guide. Retirees and survivors receive the guide at their home. New Municipal enrollees and new Sherriff's/Transportation employees and retirees will receive their guide through their benefits office.

Guide for State retirees and survivors, deferred retirees, and former employees who have continued to pay for health coverage through the state's 39-week option or the federal COBRA option (as well as for retirees in participating redevelopment, housing and certain other authorities and planning councils), as well at Retired Municipal Teachers participating in the GIC RMT program. New Retiree/Survivors joining from the Sheriffs Department and the new Transportaion Agency will be mailed a guide. Retirees/Survivors will receive the guide at their home by the beginning of annual enrollment. Employees of current municipalities will receive their guide through their benefits office; participating retirees and survivors will receive the guide at their home by the beginning of annual enrollment. New municipal employees, retirees and survivors who are joining as of July 1 will receive the guide through their benefits office by the beginning of open enrollment.
