The AMP Help Desk provides prompt assistance to all AMP constituents including departments, municipalities, contractors, and Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs).

The AMP Business Advisory Board is responsible for creating and supporting initiatives that represent the interests of the SOMWBA certified vendor community.
Please be advised of our Snow Cancellation Policy: Training and workshops will be cancelled if Boston Public Schools are closed. Your name will be added to the next scheduled workshop and confirmations will be sent out within five business days from the date of cancellation.
AMP Advanced RFR Workshop
“Contracting With State Entities”
If you are a SOMWBA Certified Business who is ready to respond to an RFR but needs help with the technicalities you should attend this workshop. The sessions will be presented by the Members of the AMP Business Advisory Board, successful SOMWBA Certified Businesses who have already contracted with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and know how to do it. Presentations will focus on:
“Navigating the State Procurement System”
”Bidding on Commodities and Services Contracts”
“Bidding on IT Contracts”
“Bidding on Construction Contracts”
“Subcontracting in Construction and Design Contracts”
“Getting your Business Finances in Order”
and “Marketing to State Entities”
Date: This training is only offered once a year.

AMP Workshop for Departments
This workshop is a three hour training that will assist all procurement officers, contract managers and program coordinators gain better understanding and increase their tools for developing AMP approaches in the procurement process. This course will cover AMP Requirements and Policies, Strategic Research and Planning for M/WBE Vendor Pool Availability, AMP Plan Approaches for Success, Managing AMP Commitments for Increased Outcomes, AMP Steps for Effective Contract Management and Maximizing AMP Plan Opportunities and Evaluation Options. Case studies will be part of the curriculum. Feel free to bring your examples and case studies for discussion.

AMP Introduction & Overview of Benefits, Services and Resources for MWBEs
The AMP invites all Minority and Women-Owned Businesses who are interested in learning how to maximize their certification status, find opportunities for AMP partnerships and market as an AMP participant to state entities to this training. AMP & OSD is offering this workshop to both Minority and Women Business Entrepreneurs (M/WBEs) who are interested in effectively navigating Comm-PASS.
This two (2) hour training will cover both free access tools to: find bidding opportunities; find sub-contracting opportunities; find warm leads among buyer communities and Market to potential bidding partners who seek SOMWBA-Certified businesses. And Fee-based SMARTBID tools to: Submit bids for Statewide Contracts (SWC’s) online ~ no more paper, copying, collating and delivery expenses; market to potential buyers even without a contract award and market goods and services beyond your Contract award(s). AMP How to Submit an Effective AMP Plan Training
The AMP Plan form is a requirement for all large procurements and Statewide Contracts. AMP is offering this workshop to both Certified and Non-certified Bidders who are interested in learning how to submit effective AMP Plans. The training is designed to provide all Bidders with the necessary information, resources, tools and skills to complete an AMP Plan for all types of solicitations.
