DOR Releases 10 Most Wanted Poster
The Department of Revenue released its 10 Most Wanted poster at a press conference with Revenue Commissioner Navjeet K. Bal (see accompanying press release and the Commissioner���s remarks
Modeled after the FBI���s most wanted list, the 10 Most Wanted poster campaign features some of the state���s worst child support offenders. The amount of past due support owed to their children by this year���s 10 most wanted ranges from $26,000 to $196, 000.
Since the program began in 1992, 104 of the 122 deadbeat parents have been apprehended and $4.5 million in back child support has been collected.
The latest poster is available on the Department���s Child Support Enforcement (CSE) website. Anyone with information about any of the parents pictured on the poster is encouraged to call the CSE Anonymous Tip Line toll-free at 888-WANTEDS (888-926-8337), or Customer Service at 800-332-2733, (local callers, 617-660-1234). A dedicated e-mail Tip Line also is available on the CSE website.
