For Claimants Who Have Exhausted Extended Benefits (EB)
If you have exhausted your Extended Benefits (EB) benefits, you will receive a letter with information on how to file for the latest EUC benefits. In the letter, one of the phone numbers is listed incorrectly. Please call the automated toll-free (888) number listed FIRST on the letter. Do not call the second toll-free (800) number listed as it is not affiliated with the Division of Unemployment Assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Additional EUC Benefits Legislation PassedNovember 9, 2009 Update
Recent legislation expanded the Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) Program, allowing up to 14 weeks of additional benefits for all states, with an additional 6 weeks available for high unemployment states if Congress acts to extend the program overall in 2010. Massachusetts currently qualifies as a high unemployment state. Learn more.
