DOS representative meets Jordan Barab, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health
On June 30th, Kathy Flannery, of DOS’s OSHA Consultation Program, attended the New England Consultation Program Managers Meeting in Newport, Rhode Island. The annual meeting of OSHA Consultation Program staff provides an opportunity to learn about the successes and challenges experienced by programs in neighboring states, and is designed as a multi-day exchange of ideas.
Meeting participants were fortunate to have the opportunity to hear remarks from Jordan Barab, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, appointed by the Obama Administration in April of this year.
