Patrick-Murray Administration To Announce Recovery Funds For Workers On North Shore, Thursday

Who: On Thursday, May 14^th, Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development
            Suzanne M. Bump will visit adult training classrooms and meet with
            unemployed workers in Lynn, as well as make an announcement relative to
           recovery funds for workforce training. The funds are for the North Shore
            Workforce Investment Board, which includes the communities of Beverly,
            Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Lynn, Lynnfield,
            Manchester-by the-Sea, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahant, Peabody,
            Rockport, Salem, Saugus, Swampscott, Topsfield, and Wenham.

What: An announcement regarding American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
          funding to help Massachusetts workers access training opportunities. In
          addition, Secretary Bump will visit two training classes in-session at the
           North Shore Career Center in Lynn, as well as meet with unemployed
          workers.
