Secretary Bump to address North Shore Workforce Investment Board in Salem
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 --- Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development Secretary Suzanne M. Bump will be in Salem on Thursday to address the North Shore Workforce Investment Board to award the North Shore Workforce Investment Board with High Performing status, and to award two Workforce Competitive Trust Fund grants to the North Shore Career Center and North Shore Community College. The grants, which were established in 2006 to target critical industries and focus on occupations with persistent vacancies in the Commonwealth, will support the banking industry and hospitality industries on the North Shore.
