Secretary Bump Announces Teleclaim Call Center Hours On President’s Day And A Reminder Of Saturday Hours
Tuesday, February 10th, 2009 --- Boston, MA - Secretary Suzanne Bump of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development announced today that the TeleClaims call center network will be open this Monday, February 16th, President’s Day from 8:30am to 6:30pm. Only those initiating a claim need to phone in. If your claim is already opened, you can use the automated phone service, use the online service, or make other arrangements to receive your benefits such as direct deposit.

“Staff at the TeleClaim call centers chose to open on this holiday weekend and we greatly appreciate their dedication in helping the unemployed in our Commonwealth”, said Secretary Bump.
In addition, Secretary Bump encourages residents of the Commonwealth seeking unemployment insurance to take advantage of the TeleClaim center’s Saturday hours, which are open from 8am to 1:30pm. Currently the wait times on Saturday are minimal and have been as low as 1 – 2 minutes.
