After you register your new business and obtain a DUA account number, you can sign-up for UI Online Services for Business and do all this on the Web:
  • Perform business transactions
  • Access information on your account
  • Use Massachusetts TalentQuest for your hiring needs

Register Your New Business Online
You can register your new business and obtain a DUA account number to sign-up for online services. A PIN is not needed.

PERFORM BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS

QUIK RESPONSE -- Complete Wage and Separation Forms (1062/1074) and/or Separation Pay Information

  • Use qUIk Response to provide Unemployment Insurance Request for Information (Form 1062/1074/1074x) about former employees who have recently filed a claim for benefits. Separation Pay information may also be provided.
  • You will be notified at your email address on file when there is a new 1062/1074/1074x form that requires immediate attention to complete and submit prior to the deadline date. You may also be requested to provide Separation Pay information about former employees.

Apply for WorkSharing

  • With WorkSharing, employees work reduced hours and their wages are supplemented by unemployment insurance benefits.
  • You can apply online, rather than completing a paper application.

Manage Your WorkSharing Plans

  • Once you have decided to participate in WorkSharing, you can submit your weekly forms for payments, and conduct other transactions online.

Update Your Addresses

  • Some businesses and organizations provide DUA with different addresses for different functions, for instance one address for contributions, one for claimant information.
  • You can change your address on this website.

Apply for 940 Certification
Timely payments may make you eligible for a credit against your federal unemployment tax liability. It's quick and easy to request certification online.

Request to Suspend
Request to suspend your employer account with the Division of Unemployment Assistance Revenue Service.

Review Benefit Charge Statements

  • Review your Benefit Charge Statement (Form 1088) or Statement of Reimbursable Benefits (Form 1089-1).
  • If you are the most recent employer in the claimant's base period, you will receive the first charges for a worker's unemployment insurance benefits.
  • If you were not the most recent employer in the base period, you may also be charged at some point in the claim.
  • For each month during which charges are made to your account, you will receive a "Statement of Benefit Charges" (Form 1088), which itemizes all charges, credits and adjustments made for each week of the month, and identifies each employee by name and social security number.

Look Up Your Contribution Rate
Check your company's unemployment insurance contribution rate. You can get your current rate and rates for the prior seven years.

Annual Rate Notice (Form 9701)

  • View your annual rate notice from 2002 to present.
  • View your past contribution amounts and non-filed quarters or outstanding reimbursable amounts.

File and Pay Online
You can file and pay your Unemployment Insurance Contribution and Unemployment Health Insurance Contribution online. Just go to https://wfb.dor.state.ma.us/webfile. A separate registration is required.
