Commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of the Massachusetts Environmental Trust

November 10, 2009
College Of The Holy Cross
Worcester, Massachusetts

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

Established as part of the Boston Harbor cleanup, the Trust has invested over $17 million in projects for water quality, aquatic species, environmental education and more. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Massachusetts Environmental Trust (MET), the Trustees are hosting a one-day conference to bring together practitioners engaged in promoting the responsible stewardship of the state’s drinking water and water-related resources.  The conference will address the critical water policy issues facing the Commonwealth and the New England region in the areas of water quality and quantity, restoration, and revitalization of waterfronts, sustainable water infrastructure and where public and private funders should invest.
