State Agricultural Officials Kick-Off Apple Season with the Massachusetts Apple Festival

WHAT:

Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (DAR) Commissioner Scott Soares and representatives from the New England Apple Growers Association will celebrate apple season at the Massachusetts Apple Festival at the Boston Public Market in Dewey Square. Samples of Massachusetts apples, apple cider, and cider donuts will be available. There will also be an apple pie making demonstration and information on local apple varieties, recipes, and pick-your-own apple farms.
