The end of the week last week presented many opportunities for Secretary Reville to discuss the use federal recovery funds for both K – 12 and higher education as well as special education as he traveled from the Cape to the Berkshires, with a stop in Newton in between.

On Friday, Secretary Reville traveled to the Berkshires for a meeting of the Berkshire Compact for Higher Education at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
"The whole project to boost college aspirations is critically important, because the value of education goes up both for individuals and society, especially in an area with high graduation rates but low college-going rates.
