An Act Establishing a Sensible State Marijuana Policy

On Friday, January, 2, 2009 the new law pertaining to the possession of marihuana took effect. If you receive a telephone call regarding a citation for possession of marihuana and the caller is18 years of age or older please, refer them to their local police department or to the Executive Office of Public Safety Website.
