2005 Patient Safety Awards
The Betsy Lehman Patient Safety Recognition award has been established to recognize leadership and innovation in patient safety, including promotion of public awareness, education and systems-based solutions through the implementation of best practices. Healthcare facilities, organizations or individuals are all eligible applicants/nominees.
As the first recipients of this new award the Betsy Lehman Center honored the following individuals for their work and contributions towards the advancement of patient safety:

The winners were presented their awards at the Betsy Lehman Center’s Annual Patient Safety Conference, held on December 5, 2005.
