Disaster and Primary Care: How to Protect Your Patients and Your Practice

This program was developed for internists, family practice physicians, pediatricians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and others providers involved in primary care to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining access to care and prescription medications for their patients in the face of a disaster. Participants will learn about the problems that arise when primary care services fail during a disaster as well as strategies to help them maintain access to care for their patients.Sponsored by the Massachusetts Medical Society and its Committee on Preparedness in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health
