Federal Bulletproof Vest Reimbursement Program
The 2009 U.S. Department of Justice Bulletproof Vest Partnership program (BVP) is now open for application. The application process requires that the following information be provided: total number of full and part-time officers, the agency’s replacement cycle, and the total amount of previously awarded BVP funds. Please follow the links below to complete and submit the applications.
- For Local Law Enforcement: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bvpbasi. The deadline for applications is June 23, 2009.
- For State Law Enforcement Agencies: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bvpbasi. Submit applications by June 15, 2009 to enable EOPSS to finalize the Commonwealth’s application by June 23, 2009.
