$97.7 Million Sea Lab Award

Thursday, August 23, 2007 — The Patrick Administration announced that a team led by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Falmouth won a $97.7 million award from the not-for-profit Joint Oceanographic Institutions (JOI) to build an ocean observation system off the Massachusetts coast.  In this week's podcast, we hear highlights from the announcment and some of the impact it will have on our environmental understanding and economy.
