Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray's Veterans Tour

Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray recently completed his two week military and veterans issues tour on behalf of the Patrick-Murray Administration.  From June 15th through June 29th he participated in various tours, meetings, and events supporting and relating to military and veterans issues. 

Lt. Governor Murray continued and expanded his work as an advocate for veterans and their families during this time.  As the Chairman of the Governor's Advisory Council on Veterans' Services he has led a group of veterans and veterans' advocates for the last two years as they worked to promote and improve the Administration's outreach and service delivery to veterans and their families. 

The purpose of this tour is to highlight the services offered to veterans and their families through the Department of Veterans' Services and other organizations, while also learning more about the challenges our veterans face and how we can better address them.
