Tax Preparation Volunteer Opportunities
Become an IRS Certified Volunteers and provide free tax assistance through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites for persons with low-to-moderate incomes. In Massachusetts, there are over seventy agencies, which offer free tax assistance and preparation services to residents of the Commonwealth. These VITA sites are located across the Commonwealth. The best way for you to provide free tax assistance to low-to-moderate income families is to become a trained volunteer.
