I need help with an answer to a specific question:

  • The Citizens Information Service is the primary information and referral service on state programs and agencies. It offers telephone assistance and directs people to the proper offices where they can obtain assistance in resolving their problems or questions. Telephone: (617) 727-7030 Toll-free: 1-800-392-6090

  • Contact the Governor's Office of Constituent Services if you have a question or suggestion for the Governor.  Phone: 617.725.4005 or 888.870.7770 (in state), Western Mass. Phone: 413.784.1200. Or, if you prefer, you can contact your state senator or representative.
     
  • The Office of Consumer Affairs works to ensure consumers are treated fairly by businesses operating in the Commonwealth. They oversee and enforce state and/or federal laws designed to protect consumers.

  • The Attorney General's Office handles consumer complaints, as well as any other general questions that may arise regarding consumer protection.

  • For personal or business tax information, including WebFile questions/password resets, contact the Department of Revenue.

  • For drivers licenses and vehicle registration, contact the Registry of Motor Vehicles.

  • For unemployment information, contact the Department of Unemployment Assistance.
