Speakers Bureau

By the Division of Professional Licensure

Do you need a speaker for your organization's upcoming seminar, meeting, dinner or other event?

The Division of Professional Licensure oversees the regulatory process for more than 40 trades and professions licensed by 30 boards of Registration. We offer a host of professionals prepared to speak on numerous subjects of concern to consumers involving the Boards of Registration and the licensed professions. We can provide expertise on choosing such professionals as psychologists, plumbers and public accountants.

Have you ever wondered...

  • How the Division's consumer complaint process works?
  • What consumers' rights are in real estate transactions?
  • What consumers should expect when hiring an architect?
  • What to do about a health care employee with a substance abuse problem?
  • How the Division's Health Care Fraud Unit helps consumers?

Get the answers to these questions...

and many others, through these educational presentations in which the speakers share their expertise, insights and experiences with members of your organization.

Availability...

Speakers are available to consumer organizations, schools, government agencies, professional organizations and interest groups.

No speaker will be engaged for an event that interferes with his or her primary responsibilities.

Cost...

Speakers offer their services on a voluntary basis - no fees are solicited.

If, however, your organization customarily pays an honorarium, it is anticipated that this courtesy will be extended to the Division's speaker. All honoraria are deposited directly into the Division of Professional Licensure General Trust Fund and used to support boards of registration activities.
