Notice of Public Hearing


By the Division of Professional Licensure


Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 112, §175; c. 30A; and c. 112, §61, the Board of Real Estate Appraisers will hold a public hearing relative to proposed promulgation of amendments to the Board’s regulations at 264 CMR 1.00 (Disciplinary Proceedings) and 264 CMR 2.00 (General Provisions).  By the proposed amendments, the reference to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice will be updated to refer to the 2010-2011 Edition.  The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Division of Professional Licensure, 239 Causeway Street, Boston, MA 02114 in Room 202.  Interested Parties will be given an opportunity to present testimony orally or in writing at this hearing.  A copy of the proposed regulations may be obtained at the Board’s web site or by contacting the Board at 239 Causeway Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02114; (617) 727-9936. 

The Board will also accept written comments regarding the regulations through the end of business on Friday, November 20, 2009.
