Proposed Rules and Regulations Changes for Board of State Examiners of Electricians


Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 141 § 2 and c. 30A the Board of State Examiners of Electricians will hold a public hearing relative to proposed amendments to the Board regulations at 237 CMR 13.00 and 237 CMR 17.00. By the proposed regulations at 237 CMR 13.00, the Board is defining its education and experience requirements for licensure for out of state and out of country applicants as well as for those applicants whose education and experience was obtained while in the military. By the proposed regulations at 237 CMR 13.00, the board is further defining the continuing education requirements for local inspectors of wires. The hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on March 15, 2007 at the Board’s Offices at the Division of Professional Licensure, 239 Causeway Street, 2nd floor conference rooms, Room 206 and at 10 a.m. on March 16, 2007 at the State Office Building, 436 Dwight Street, Springfield, MA. Interested parties will be given an opportunity to present testimony orally or in writing at these hearings.
