If you are mailing a fee or assessment to the Division, please check the particular instructions or remittance for the mailing address. Most fees and assessments should be sent to a lockbox address and not the office address.

Visiting the Division

The Division of Insurance reception area is located on the fifth floor of One South Station. South Station is the transportation center that houses the commuter rail, Amtrak and the MBTA's South Station Red Line station, and an MBTA Silver Line station. It is adjacent to Boston's financial district and Chinatown. To access our offices, do not enter the train and food court area of the building. Instead, the entrance to the One South Station lobby is on Atlantic Ave., directly across from the Starbucks Coffee located in One Financial Center. A sign with the number "1" hangs over the entrance.

Upon entering the lobby of One South Station, you will be asked to sign in and show a photo id to the security guard on duty. You will be unable to access the building without a photo id.

Driving Directions

From Points North:

Take I-93 South/US-1 South/Route 3 South to Exit 23 "Purchase Street and South Station". Continue on Purchase Street, through the lights at Congress Street. At the next intersection of Purchase Street and Summer Street, take a left onto Summer Street. South Station is on the next corner of Atlantic Ave. and Summer Street.

From Points West:

Take I-90 (Mass Pike) east toward Boston. Take Exit 24A "South Station". Travel off exit ramp for approximately ¾ mile onto Atlantic Ave. South Station is on the right, on the corner of Atlantic Ave. and Summer Street.

From Points South:

Take I-93 North/US-1 North/Route 3 North to Exit 20. Follow the signs for South Station, Atlantic Ave. South Station is on the right, on the corner of Atlantic Ave. and Summer Street.

Parking Information

There is no on-site parking facility. Hourly parking is available at the South Station Bus terminal next to South Station, which is a two-minute walk away. The parking entrance is located on Kneeland Street and is identified with a large blue "PARKING" sign. There are also a number of other parking garages in the neighborhood, on South Street and Summer Street, as well as metered parking spaces.

Public Transportation

The "South Station" subway station is on the MBTA Red Line that runs between Braintree and Cambridge. South Station is also a stop on the MBTA Silver Line. South Station is also the final stop on the commuter rail lines that run south of Boston.
