Thank you to all the children who attended last year. We had a great year. Sheriff Frank G. Cousins is once again sponsoring another Leadership Academy for any child ages 12-15 for FREE! In the past couple years there were some kids who couldn’t get in, so Sheriff Cousins has doubled it. We will be taking 500 kids this year.
Our mission is to offer children a safe, challenging, and fun atmosphere through various projects, and class’s. We promote teamwork, trust, and respect. This year’s activities will include:
Tour of Essex County Correctional Facility
Canoe trip down Ipswich River
Fishing trip out of Plum Island
Class with District Attorney’s Office on Internet Safety
Community Service project
Project Adventure
History lesson field trip to Minuteman National Park
Go Carts
Other fun trips T.B.A.
