State Treasurer Tim Cahill Announces Next Commonwealth Bond Sale

Thursday January 29, 2009 - The State Treasurer’s Office is preparing to sell another series of Commonwealth General Obligation bonds over the next few weeks, Treasurer Tim Cahill announced today. The sale is estimated to be approximately $350 million in bonds, and will include an early retail-investor only period. During this early order period, priority is given to the orders of individual Massachusetts investors. The bonds will be used primarily to support infrastructure projects across the Commonwealth.
