Veterans Gather: Gallery Exhibit at University of Rhode Island
Date: Thursday, November 19, 2009, 5:00-9:00 PM (Reception) and exhibit runs Monday, November 9 through Thursday, December 24, 2009
Location: URI Providence Campus (80 Washington Street, Providence RI 02903). The Veterans Gather exhibit includes artwork in all media and creative writing from veterans and their families. The work deals literally and figuratively with the impact of war and military service on veterans and their families. Patriotic Salute to Veterans
Date: Saturday, November 21, 2009, 3:00 PM
Location: Winthrop Congregational Church (16 North Franklin Street, Holbrook, MA). The New England Warrior Inc. is hosting this event, which will feature remarks by James Crosby (USMC) and music by the Navy Band Northeast. For more information call 617-416-4244.
