workforce summit locations Working Together: Massachusetts' Regional Workforce Strategies Initiative

The Massachusetts Regional Workforce Strategy Initiative is a statewide effort to build regional pipelines to prepare Massachusetts workers for high demand jobs.

This statewide initiative will bring leaders in business, education, government, and workforce development together to develop concrete plans and partnerships to fill jobs that are in-demand in each region of the state and to develop pathways to the skills and opportunities that lead to success in our economy.

These meetings are open to the public, and are aimed at advancing Governor Patrick’s commitment to encourage civic engagement and public participation in solving public policy challenges.

At each regional session, the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University will present new regional labor market demand and supply data that will drive the identification of regional workforce needs and priorities to assist regional partners in developing strategies to solve workforce challenges.

EOLWD Fiscal Year 2010 Public Budget Hearings

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development will hold two public hearings to allow interested parties to provide their comments to Secretary Suzanne M. Bump as part of our fiscal year 2010 budget recommendation.
