DECISION

This was an appeal from the action of the licensing board of the city of Boston in denying the application for a malt and wine license to Bangel Group, Inc., d.b.a. Sbarro Restaurant.

The statement of reasons attached to the local board decision dated May 16, 2006 indicated that the denial by the city was that there was no public need.

Based on the evidence and testimony, the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission approves the action of the local board in denying this license.
