The responsibilities of the Attorney General's Office are wide-ranging, balancing enforcement with prevention and education to achieve changes that will be in the best interests of the Commonwealth and its residents. Each year, the Attorney General's Office must produce an Annual Report, pursuant to Massachusetts General Law chapter 12, section 11.

This report, covering Fiscal Year 2010 (July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010), reflects the work of the Office, including areas of focus such as: consumer protection, community safety, equal rights, fair labor, and economic growth and development, among others. To download and view the report:

Printed copies of Annual Reports from Fiscal Years 2010 and earlier are available for viewing in the Francis X. Bellotti Law Library, the research library within the Attorney General's Office. This library is a part of the Boston Regional Library System, and is located at One Ashburton Place in Boston. The Bellotti Library is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; visitors are encouraged to contact the library to set up an appointment to view such publications.
