The Elder Hotline is available to callers Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hotline provides a valuable service to Massachusetts' senior citizens, their families, and others seeking information about elder-related issues and programs throughout the Commonwealth. The hotline, which is staffed by senior volunteers, provides dispute resolution services and is a comprehensive resource for information and referral on a full range of concerns. Common concerns include:
- Debt and debt collection practices
- Health insurance
- Home improvement
- Landlord/tenant issues
- Long-term care insurance
- Scam awareness

The Consumer Complaint Form is the same form used by the Consumer Hotline. You do not need to file a separate complaint form for the Elder Hotline if you have already filed one with the Consumer Hotline. You may wish to download and print this form so you can review it prior to calling the Elder Hotline. If filing a written complaint is a hardship, our Elder Hotline can assist you by phone.
