National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) is a coordinated consumer education campaign that encourages individuals across the country to take full advantage of their consumer rights. Raising consumer awareness of these types of threats and providing strategies to protect personal information continues to be one of Attorney General Coakley's priorities.
During NCPW, the AGO with Local Consumer Programs, Face-to-Face Mediation Programs, and Federal partner agencies will be holding informational workshops at local community centers and senior centers throughout the Commonwealth. These workshops are designed to help residents make informed financial decisions, avoid becoming the victims of fraud, safeguarding their finances and preventing mortgage and foreclosure issues.
No RSVP required to attend these events.
