VA benefits provide for a range of long-term care services which include nursing home care, domiciliary care, adult day health care, geriatric evaluation, and respite care. Veterans with service-connected disabilities receive priority for all VA health care services. Long-term care services are provided at VA medical centers throughout the state. Massachusetts Soldiers' Homes

Massachusetts Soldiers' Homes provide a variety of health services to veterans such as acute hospital care, domiciliary care, long-term care, physical and occupational therapy, laboratory and radiology services, an outpatient department, and a social services department. There are two state Soldiers' Homes, one in Chelsea, the other in Holyoke.
