The Attorney General's Office enforces many of the laws regulating the workplace, including the payment of wages, overtime, minimum wage, prevailing wage and youth employment laws. There are a number of laws and regulations in place to provide employees in Massachusetts with certain rights in these areas. The new publication, The Attorney General's Guide to Workplace Rights and Responsibilities is a quick reference that provides Massachusetts residents with an overview of the laws.

The AGO has also provided this publication in a wide array of languages, including: Cape Verdean, Chinese, Haitian, Khmer, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. To download and view foreign-language versions of the Workplace Rights brochure:

Printed copies of all versions are available in limited quantities. To request a printed copy, contact the Attorney General's Fair Labor Division at (617) 727-3465.
