Attorney General Martha Coakley Offers Advice to Massachusetts Patients Affected by Sudden Closure of AllCare Dental and Dentures
AllCare Dental and Dentures Operates in 13 States with Two Locations in Massachusetts
BOSTON - Attorney General Martha Coakley's Office and the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry (BORID) are reviewing the sudden closure of AllCare Dental and Dentures. AllCare Dental and Dentures is located in 15 states across the country, with locations in Leominster and Chicopee, Massachusetts. AllCare Dental and Dentures is owned and operated by Dr. Robert Bates of Clarence, New York.
The Chicopee location, located at Route 33 Memorial Drive closed December 31, 2010. The Leominster location, located at 78 Orchard Hill Park Drive, Building E, closed several weeks prior.
Affected Massachusetts patients with concerns regarding billing disputes or for pre-paid treatment that was not administered are urged to contact Attorney General Coakley's Consumer Hotline at (617) 727-8400. Please be aware that the AG's Office and BORID are working diligently to get patients access to their medical records. Attorney General Martha Coakley's Health Care Division and BORID continue to review this matter and will update consumers as information develops.
