Attorney General's Office Announces Public Hearing Regarding Proposed Quincy Hospital-Steward Transaction

BOSTON - Attorney General Martha Coakley's Office, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed transfer of Quincy Hospital to a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Steward Health Care System LLC.

The hearing will be held on August 9, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. at Quincy High School, located at 52 Coddington Street.

In addition to the public hearing, the Attorney General's Office will also accept written comments during the review process. The Attorney General's Office will accept comments up until the time it issues its decision. Individuals or groups who wish to submit comments may do so by mail or email:
