Raymond Duda
Lazy D Farms, Easthampton
Raymond Duda (right, pictured with the late Congressman Silvio Conte) is
the owner and president of Lazy D Farms, Inc., a family farm that was,
until 1988 a 400 cow dairy operation, and later a livestock feed and lawn
and garden center. The farm is now a small beef cattle and compost operation.
He served as State Director for the USDA Agricultural Stabilization and
Conservation Service (ASCS) from 1980 to 1993 and on the state Board of
Agriculture from 1979 to 1986. Ray is Vice President of the Three County
Fair Association and a former president of the the Massachusetts Agricultural
Club. He has been a member of many agricultural organizations.
