Barbara and Bob Sanderson
Jonathan's Sprouts, Rochester
Barbara and Bob Sanderson have been growing Jonathan's Sprouts in Rochester,
Mass., since 1976. They grow beansprouts, alfalfa sprouts, and many other
seed sprouts for sale to New England supermarkets and restaurants.
Barbara serves as treasurer of the Massachusetts Agricultural Promotion
Board, and has been a member since the mid 1980s.
Barbara and Bob spearheaded the formation of the New England Sprout Growers
Association. The International Sprout Growers Association is an off-shoot
of the New England group. |
