Dogs and Cats

Dogs and cats are good companion animals.  When considering purchasing a dog or cat, before obtaining your pet, familiarize yourself with various breeds that may interest you. Pay particular attention to  the amount of care your pet will require. Contacting local breed clubs may be helpful in determining whether a particular breed is right for you.

You might consider adopting your next pet from the Massachusetts Animal Rescue League or Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals organization.
