Commonwealth Quality certified, fresh produce farmers, must make every effort to ensure workplace safety for all employees. Similarly, processors and distributors must verify that their Massachusetts processing facilities are in compliance with all known federal and state safety requirements and have not incurred any major violation within a calendar year of their application.
