MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF FOOD & AGRICULTURE RESUMPTION OF MASSACHUSETTS APPLE REPORT Already another crop is fast maturing and before long the harvesting and marketing of this crop will begin along with its many problems. To assist in the orderly and successful marketing of this crop, the Massachusetts Apple Report of the Massachusetts Department of Food & Agriculture will be resumed for the 79th consecutive year as soon as the 2001-02 season becomes active. This report will include all the detailed information on prices and storage holdings by important varieties, with emphasis on McIntosh movement, as well as informative articles pertaining to apples. Prices will also be quoted for pumpkins. Subscription rate for the Massachusetts Apple Report is $6.50 to cover costs for the 2001-02 season. Please make check payable to the Massachusetts Fruit Growers Association, Inc. and mail with the application to the address stated below. As was the case last year, the Massachusetts Apple Report can be accessed through the Massachusetts Department of Food & Agriculture's web site. George M.
