Bureau of MarketsPick-Your-OwnOver 200 Pick-Your-Own (PYO) farms across the state offer one of the most fun ways for consumers to enjoy locally grown foods. Many farmers have transitioned from wholesaling to retailing via farmstands, PYO, and farmers' markets. These options, which eliminate the middle level cost of distribution, gives the farmer the opportunity for higher profitablility. If you offer PYO, and would like to be listed in the state-wide PYO publication, contact Rick LeBlanc. If you would like to be a member with the Mass.
