• Why mosquito control?  

The Berkshire County Mosquito Control Project was created on June 25, 1945 by the passage of Act #455 of the year 1945.

Project services include surveillance, larviciding, adulticiding and water management (hand cleaning of drainage ditches) in 8 towns in Berkshire County, covering 241.4 square miles (see map below). Inspection of town resident's property is available on a call-in basis.
