Pesticide Licensing and Certification
2008 Pesticide Applicator Continuing Education (PACE) Approved Programs
Note: These are a list of training programs/seminars that have been approved by the Department of Agricultural Resources for the purpose of maintaining your pesticide credential. For further details, directions, and fees, please see the contact person and phone number listed.
This list changes from week-to-week and programs/seminars are held more frequently during fall, winter, and early spring. During the application season, you will not find as many programs offered. Please plan accordingly to make sure you maintain contact hours/credits during the less busy times of year before you are audited to verify proof of contact hours/credits within a three-year period. The program is not set up for you to obtain contact hours/credits after you receive your audit. The program is set up for you to have obtained your contact hours/credits prior to being audited. So don’t get caught short and attend as many training each year to maintain your pesticide credential. Otherwise, your only option is to re-take the state pesticide exam. Contact the pesticide license coordinator Lee Corte-Real who oversees the audits if you have questions.
You can also contact UMASS Pesticide Applicator Program at 413-545-1044 or your pesticide distributor for times and locations of educational opportunities if available.
