Pesticide Certification and Licensing
Reciprocal Licensing Hold for New Applicators
Reciprocity with the state of Massachusetts is on hold until further notice due to new legislation Chapetr 85 of the Acts of 2000 which amends the state pesticide law effective Nov.1, 2000. Massachusetts will evaluate whether or not those states that were formerly reciprocal are truly equivelent as it pertains to IPM testing. To obtain a Massachusetts credential, read our licensing bulletin and register for an exam.

At this time, only new reciprocal license requests are affected. Your can maintain your current reciprocal license if you continue to provide the Pesticide Bureau with current licensing from the original state and comply with our continuing education policies. If you fail to comply, however, you will be required to retest.
